What do you hope to learn or gain from INCC this semester?  Why?

  1. I hope to gain studies skills and a great group of friends from INCC. Throughout Highschool I had one of the biggest procrastination problems and this year I dream on breaking that awful issue. By listening and participating in events with my classmates, I believe it will spark a great group of role models that can help me become a better person and student.

  2. In this INCC class I hope to meet a lot of new people, and engage in many school activities. I have used the same study skills since high school and I hope to learn from others about theirs. Going to many school activities will keep you busy and make college much more fun!

  3. I hope to learn more about Columbia College and learn about any new opportunities that could better my future. I also hope to gain lasting friendships. I've always had my best friends from home to help me through things and it's comforting to know that only within a week of school here, I have made great friends. I also hope to continue meeting new people by going to school activities.

  4. This semester in INCC I plan to learn more about Columbia College. I hope to meet a lot of new people in INCC, and get closer to the guys and girls that live in my section, as well as the people who do not live in my section, but are still in the class. I hope that I get a better understanding of how the whole college experience works, especially how to study. I haven’t learned an effective way to study yet, but by being in this class I am sure I will discover many new ways. I also hope to learn more about what this campus has to offer.
    I also hope that I learn to become more of a leader and meet more people. I think that this class will help me learn how to be friendly and communicate with other people outside of INCC and my other classes.

  5. In this class i hope to work on my study skills. I want to improve on being able to handle my classes and manage my time. I also hope to meet new people and get involved in the community. I want to discover what CC is all about and find out how they will help me to get my degree. Get information on all the free tutoring and help the school provides to help me make good grades. In all i want to be involved and learn how to balance social life while also being strong in the class from.

  6. This semester i plan to learn alot in my INCC class. I plan to learn better study skills and being tie efficent. I am really looking foward to meeting all the new people in my section, and i think this is a great way to do it! I also hope to learn what all the Columbia College Campus has to offer!

  7. INCC is that class that going to help me make sure I get everything Columbia College has to offer! I want to learn, discover, experience, and so much more in this class. I'm excited about the people and the whole CC campus. Hopefully this class is everything I expect it to be. :)

  8. In INCC I want to learn better studying skills. I knew taking this class would help a lot for me. I want to get my 4 year plan done and know what I am going to be doing these next few years at Columbia. I also am excited to get to know the people in my class a lot better. I am excited to see what Columbia College can offer and all the fun things we will be doing here!

The study skills will help me take the right notes and study the right things. With the new people I meet and the skills I will gain through this class, I hope to make Columbia College a memorable and easy experience.

  10. In INCC I really hope to get to know the people in our class better. I really hope that this class is a lot of fun and memorable. Building good friendships would be a great thing to take away from my INCC experience. New and more effective study skills is a given. Being able to study effectively would be an amazing tool to have for the next 4 years at Columbia College.

  11. This year in INCC I hope to become more aware of the many things that will be going on during my freshman year. I also like being involved with my fellow freshman. It's nice to know that there are others in the same position as me.

  12. In INCC this year, i hope to meet a lot of new people and create new friends. I would like to learn the tricks and trades of college life. I hope to become familiar with the general path i want to go with my studies and have some kind of career plan set for after i graduate. Most of all I want to make the best of my college career, and tackle the endeavours presented to me.

  13. This semester in INCC I hope to gain knowledge that will help me for the rest of my life. I hope to discover what it is that I want to do with my one precious life and then devise a plan to lead me in the right direction. I wish to develop a four year plan, which will include my educational goals as well as my personal goals, and learn how to best go about reaching those goals. I also expect to gain some great friendships that will enrich my life with students in my group as well as with my leaders.

    During this first semester I aspire to gain the skills necessary to succeed in college. I wish to become a more organized person with the help of my master calendar and altered time management skills. I also want to learn how to manage my money and set financial goals to make it through college with as little debt as possible. I trust that this class will assist me in discovering new strengths that I never knew I had, and in discovering ways to build my resume for the world awaiting me when I graduate.

  14. I hope to gain new study/time management skills through INCC. I also hope to meet new people and be able to find people with whom study groups could be created. I would also like to learn more about CC and the community. Mainly just figuring out how to make this college experience the best it can be is what I am aiming for.

  15. I know I already commented but it isn't showing up. I hope to learn many different skills in and out of the classroom. I am also planning on meeting a ton of new people plus the ones I already have. I really want to learn the best ways to study for tests and finals also. I hope by the end of the class I will know a lot more about CC, Columbia, and even myself.

  19. I plan to use this class as a way to learn more about Columbia College, and about myself. I hope this class can help me manage my time and assignments. INCC seems like a great way to get and stay connected to activities happening on campus. This class has already helped me meet some great people, that have made this brand new college experience a bit easier. INCC is a class that will hopefully make the transition from high school to college more manageable in an enjoyable way.

  20. I really wasn't really sure what to think about INCC. I've heard really bad things about it. I've also heard that its changing about. So I believe the changes are going to make it better for us as students at Columbia Collage. I hope that by taking this class i get something out of it and help make it better for next years freshman. I'm open minded right now!
